- State or Federally Licensed Facilities: Airports, Cellular Towers, Pipelines, Radio Towers, Public Right of Ways, Transmission Lines, and more are all regulated by a state of federal agency such as TCEQ (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality), FAA, FCC, EPA, etc. All of these Facilities or locations, whether they are licensed or not, have Code Enforcement regulations they must comply with.
- Grass and Vegetation: Most Texas Cities have regulations regarding the height of grass on any given property. Maximum heights range from as low as 8 inches to a high of 14 inches. The typical maximum height is 12 inches. Grass Violations can also include keeping the public curbs clear of grass and vegetation so edging or weed eating is needed.
- Heavy Brush: This one is hard to provide a clear definition as it pertains to Code Enforcement but basically it is any brush that is or can be be construed as and environmental hazards, including, (i) fire or health hazards; (ii) nuisance violations; this has the most broad application and most violations fall under this category.
- Unlicensed: Any vehicle, motorized or not, that is required by the State of Texas to maintain a current registration.
- Vehicles: Cars, Trucks, Trailers, Motor Homes, Travel Trailers, Motorcycles, plus any other licensed required vehicle, that is not currently registered CANNOT be driven, parked or stored on public streets and or highways.
